Module 6 “Becoming the Best” – Interpersonal Skills

Unit 1: Motivation
Motivating Strategies

Motivation is a process that requires careful strategies for success. The Main motivational strategy is to maintain open communciation with others. When people feel like their ideas are being heard and you are taking their ideas on board they are more likely to be more intersted and in turn more motivated. Many motivation theories have been created over the past century in an attempt to understand human behaviour. To be in a postiion to motivate people first you must understand what actually motivates them in the first place, what inspires them. REMEMBER what motivates someone may not be the same as what motivates someone else.
