Module 6 “Becoming the Best” – Interpersonal Skills

Interpersonal skills or “Becoming the Best” relates to becoming the best version of yourself possible.

Becoming an entrepreneur, starting up your own business or taking on a leadership role sometimes can feel as though you are taking 2 steps forward and 5 back. It takes a lot of concentration, consistency and confidence to achieve your dream. Youth will need to develop or master various skills in: Decision making, assertiveness, listening, leadership and most importantly confidence.

You will need to establish good and strong relationships with all people around you or that you will meet during your onward path. The ability to listen is a key skill to develop. Being able to talk and “sell yourself” is certainly important but the ability to listen is even more important.

Once you are on your own without a manager or “leader” and decisions are yours alone to make (at least in the beginning), your creative thinking skills will also become more important than ever before.
